Yesterday was a sad sight to see in America. I’m not the greatest at effectively expressing myself, but I leave you with a quote from Obama that resonated with me:
History will rightly remember today’s violence at the Capitol, incited by a sitting president who has continued to baselessly lie about the outcome of a lawful election, as a moment of great dishonor and shame for our nation. But we’d be kidding ourselves if we treated it as a total surprise.
Stay safe, everyone. I’ll see you all in the next one.
Today I’ve been spending a good chunk of time throwing out a lot of stuff that’s been sitting around the house should’ve been dealt with sooner. It’s making the space feel new again, and while it might be a small win, it feels great. I plan to take this feeling and keep it going. I feel more motivated than I have in awhile. Stay safe, everyone.
I’ll see you all tomorrow.
This one is on the chiller side. Cyberpunk came out today, so I don’t know how impactful my writing will be for the next few days, but I plan to write nonetheless.
Stay safe, everyone.
I’ll see you all tomorrow.
With it being winter and being inside more, I’ve been getting into the habit of reading and listening to audiobooks more, so I’d love to hear any book recommendations. I am currently reading: Brave New World, The Righteous Mind, Thrawn, and books by Ryan Holiday. I’m pretty open to all kinds of stuff, so send them on over if you have any ideas.
Stay safe, everyone.
I’ll see you all tomorrow.
I forgot to write yesterday, and I don’t intend to write one today either because I don’t feel well, so I have donated to the SickKids Foundation.
Stay safe, everyone.
I’ll see you all tomorrow.
If anyone has tips on remote work and culture, I’d love to hear it.
Stay safe, everyone.
I’ll see you all tomorrow.
Note to self: I need to start writing sooner in the day.
Stay safe, everyone.
I’ll see you all tomorrow.
